夢見ている時間 The Time for Dreaming

思い出しついでに。。
今は亡き父が、いつも私に言った誉め言葉は「可愛い」でも「きれいだね」でもなく「品がいいね」でした。
また「女の子は夢見ている時間が長いほうが幸せだよ」と。
そして結婚するときの条件はただひとつ、「鋭い発見の喜びがある人」でした。
今思うと、いつのまにかこの言葉が、私の指針になっていたことに気づきます。そして、いまも探していることを！

While recalling old memories…
The words of praise my late father always gave me were never “You’re pretty” or “You’re beautiful,” but rather, “You have grace.”
He would often add, “A girl is happiest when she spends long hours dreaming.”
And when the time came for marriage, he set only one condition: that my partner be someone who brings the joy of keen discoveries.
Looking back now, I realize these words quietly became the compass of my life. Even now, I am still searching—still following that path.
